Here’s a few shutter tips:
- Snow White is our most popular color.
- 3.5” louvers narrowly edge out 4.5” louvers in popularity.
- Use a standard tilt rod for a farmhouse or conventional style room, and hidden tilt for a more modern style.
- Divider rails and split tilt are popular choices that let you keep the bottom louvers closed for privacy while opening the top louvers for light.
- For frames, the general idea is if you have trim or casing around your windows, try the Decorative L, Flat L, or Standard L. If you don’t have casing, all frames will work.
- If you use a sill piece at the foot of your window—usually wood or marble—make sure you choose “with Sill” so you can get a full picture with the sill frame that would sit on top of your sill piece.
